440 schoolchildren enrolled in Agroclasses in Crimea
KrymPRESS informs:
This academic year, 440 Crimean schoolchildren enrolled in Agroclasses.
Over the weekend, employees of our ministry met with Crimean high school students — future veterinarians, livestock specialists, winemakers, viticulturists, gardeners, agronomists and machine operators and told them about the benefits of working in agriculture. Now all agricultural professions are extremely in demand and highly paid. I, like the guys, years ago made my choice — I chose work in agriculture, which later became the work of my whole life . It is gratifying when young people are already planning their future from school, and it is doubly pleasant that professions in the agro-industrial complex are considered a priority , — quotes the press service of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk.
According to the Minister of Agriculture of the Crimea, the teachers of the highest qualification of the Institute of «Agrotechnological Academy» KFU. V. I. Vernadsky will teach schoolchildren the basics of crop production, animal husbandry, arrangement and work on agricultural machinery. In addition, within the framework of the Agroclasses program, everyone will be able to develop and defend their own project: to create a farm vineyard, cultivate essential oil crops, create automated plants for growing plants in hydroponics, 3D models of an infrared drying device for berries and fruits. Also, after passing the special program, future farmers will learn to calculate the economic efficiency of their farms themselves. Such “Agroclasses” are the first step on the way to obtaining secondary specialized and higher education in the agricultural sector.
Modern agriculture is a technological industry, so any employee who works in this area needs to know and be able to apply modern technologies. Combines, tractors, milking systems, greenhouse complexes and much more work with the help of automation and computer systems that require highly qualified specialists. I am glad that the guys at the meeting with the employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea were keenly interested in the achievements and development of the Crimean agro-industrial complex. I am sure that the future of agriculture on the peninsula is in good hands, Andrey Savchuk notes.
Recall that the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea annually provides support to young professionals who, after graduating from colleges and universities, work in rural areas in their specialty. So, in September of this year, more young specialists applied for a lump sum payment, and now the admission continues. A cash payment in the amount of thousand rubles is provided for graduates of secondary vocational educational institutions, a payment in the amount of — 50 thousand rubles is provided for graduates of higher educational institutions.
