500 Crimean students and schoolchildren were trained at the School of Labor Volunteering
From January 18 to 24 in Simferopol on the basis of the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, a volunteer training school was held for students and schoolchildren to participate in the volunteer patriotic action “Snow Landing of the Russian North Ossetia”. The school was held in two stages: training of command staff of volunteer labor detachments and training of volunteers to participate in the action.
The RSO Snow Landing is a large-scale patriotic event aimed at uniting the efforts of students from all over Russia to improve populated areas and provide assistance to those in need. This year, more than 500 people will take part in the action on the peninsula. In addition to students from leading universities on our peninsula, students from schools and colleges will take part in the labor landing for the first time, forming labor teams of teenagers. In 2024, the campaign is being held with grant support from the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea.
As part of the training, participants completed master classes on team building, safety instructions, rules of conduct in unforeseen circumstances and first aid. Volunteers also received methodological training in conducting open career guidance lessons for schoolchildren.
The patriotic action “Snow Landing of the Republic of North Ossetia” in Crimea will take place from January 26 to February 4, and activists are looking forward to the start of field events as part of the action.
Patriotic action in Crimea “RSO Snow Landing” is carried out on the initiative of fighters Russian Student Teams for the seventh time. The number of participants and the geography of good deeds are growing each time. The key to the success of the campaign and its development is that we pay special attention training participants on labor protection. For us, not only high-quality work is important, but also the safe work of student workers. This is why we hold the School of Labor Volunteering. Also, thanks to this school, the participants of the action get to know each other and, before field events, unite into teams of like-minded people, — says Ekaterina Denesyuk, a specialist at the regional headquarters of student groups of the Republic of Crimea.
