59 students will receive a city scholarship in Sevastopol

Today, at a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Mikhail Razvozhaev, the issue of awarding city scholarships was discussed. Students receive a city scholarship for special achievements in scientific, educational or social activities.

This year we have 59 children nominated for scholarships — these are students of schools, colleges and technical schools, higher educational institutions, additional education and children’s creative teams, — quotes the press service and. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on the direction:

  • for schoolchildren — 10,000 rubles;
  • for students — 15,000 rubles;
  • for those receiving additional education — 5,000 rubles;

The head of the department also announced the opening of an additional technological class at the pre-university lyceum of Sevastopol State University.

The opening of the new class is scheduled for September 1, which will increase the number of classes in 2023 to seven: there will be four 10s and three 11s. The total number of children studying in these classes is 175 people, — notes acting. department director.
