The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea draws the attention of citizens: from April 17, 2024 by order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan A special fire safety regime has been introduced on the peninsula.
Persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violation and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability. What fines are provided for violators of fire safety requirements under special fire safety conditions, see link.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that uncontrolled burning of dry vegetation can lead to tragic consequences:
- The fire may develop into a major fire and spread to the forest area;
- Fire poses a threat to homes, infrastructure, agricultural land, etc.
- Ash does not penetrate into the soil, remaining on the surface or being washed away by rain into rivers and reservoirs;
- Fire damages young shoots of grass, destroys buds and seeds of plants;
- Beneficial microorganisms, insects, worms, small mammals, nests and clutches of birds die;
- The flame destroys young tree growth;
- The air is polluted by hydrocarbons, ash, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.
To avoid this, it is necessary to observe the following fire safety rules:
- Install a container of water and a fire extinguisher near each residential building;
- mow down dry last year’s vegetation on and around your property;
- do not leave containers with flammable and combustible liquids or flammable gases in open areas near buildings;
- if the land plot is located near a forest area, ensure work to create fire-fighting mineralized strips;
- Do not allow children to play with matches, lighters and other sources of open fire, because children’s pranks are one of the most common causes of fires.
In case of emergency, please call 112!
