A builder from Sevastopol will appear in court on charges of murdering a casual acquaintance

The criminal investigation has been completed against a 31-year-old worker from Sevastopol, accused of committing the murder of a 45-year-old passerby (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
In the early morning of September 20, the body of a middle-aged man with signs of violent death was discovered near a shopping center in the Stone Flower park in the Gagarinsky district. Investigators and forensic investigators conducted a thorough inspection of the area and seized material evidence. In cooperation with colleagues from the criminal investigation department, the identity of the attacker was established, he was promptly detained— the Sledkom revealed details.
The investigative department for the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol established that two drunk construction workers met in the park, a domestic conflict ensued between them, during which the 31-year-old man first beat the enemy, and then inflicted several stab wounds on him in the neck, chest and shoulder. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.
The detainee fully admitted his guilt in the crime committed. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure for the man in the form of detention, where he remains to this day.
The criminal investigation has been completed and sufficient evidence has been collected. The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for study, signing of the indictment and further sending the case to court.
