A bust of Emperor Alexander III was unveiled at secondary school No. 11 in Yalta

The pedestal was a gift to the school from the Heroes Association for the fifth anniversary of the cadet corps, which was founded in 2018. The author of the bust is the sculptor Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Alekseevich Apollonov. Help in creating the pedestal and its delivery was provided by the famous public figure of Crimea and philanthropist Ibrahim Shirin.
Addressing those present, the Head of the municipality, Konstantin Shimanovsky, noted that at one of the sessions of the Yalta City Council the decision to name school No. 11 after Alexander III would be considered.
Cadets are the pride of Yalta. Events with the participation of children always look especially solemn. I wish the cadets excellent studies, new victories and achievements in the name of Yalta and the Republic of Crimea. I thank the teaching staff of the school, headed by Alexander Tutatchikov, for the development of the cadet movement in the territory of the municipality, — the press service quotes the Head of the municipality.
Words of greeting from the head of the Yalta city administration, Yanina Pavlenko, were conveyed by Zhanna Kislitsa.
I congratulate the students on the fifth anniversary of the cadet corps, as well as the 25 guys who today, on the Day of the Republic of Crimea, solemnly took an oath! My dears, for you, honor, dignity, responsibility, and love for the Motherland come first. I wish to remain an example for my peers and proudly bear my titlesays the greeting.
In honor of the fifth anniversary of the cadet corps, school students were awarded insignia for success in academics, sports and creativity.
