Please note: to submit designs for multiple medals, you must collect and send a separate package of documents for each design.

Documents along with a sketch of the medal must be sent by June 4 to the following email address: apparat@sev.gov.ru. The subject of the letter must indicate the name of the medal for which you are submitting a design.

The main criteria for evaluating a medal design:

  • originality of solutions;
  • high artistic expressiveness and aesthetic appearance;
  • correspondence to the theme of the medal.

The commission evaluates the medal designs using a point system from one to ten in accordance with the criteria. The results of the competition will be summed up no later than ten calendar days from the closing date for applications.

We pay special attention to the fact that when making a sketch of a medal, external resemblance to state awards of the Russian Federation is not allowed. It is unacceptable to use images of state symbols of the Russian Federation, a pentagonal block covered with a moiré ribbon, forms of signs similar to the forms of state awards of the Russian Federation, departmental awards established by the federal executive bodies of the Russian Federation, executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (primarily four-pointed equal crosses with flared ends, four- and eight-pointed order stars).
