Tomorrow, the state final certification begins in all schools in the city: the first exams are scheduled for May 21 for ninth-graders, and for May 23 for eleventh-graders. At a staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, they discussed the choice by schoolchildren of the form of state final certification this year.

It is clear that this is a lot of stress for both children and their parents. Therefore, I turned to the Minister of Education Sergei Sergeevich Kravtsov with a proposal to make the Unified State Examination and the Unified State Examination in Sevastopol voluntary exams. Sergei Sergeevich supported this proposal. Children will be able to choose the form of state final certification and receive certificates for grades 9 and 11 based on the results of the Unified State Exam, Unified State Exam or intermediate certification at school. It will be possible to enter higher educational institutions based on the results of the Unified State Examination and internal university entrance exams.,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
