The Crimean sports school No. 6 (located in Yalta, on Rudanskogo street) received a complex of climbing walls. According to the Republican Ministry of Sports, the equipment was handed over by the Russian Climbing Federation.
The complex includes climbing walls for the disciplines «speed climbing» (standard, height — 15, 5 meters, width — 6 meters) and «climbing for difficulty» (height — 16, 5 meters, width — 8 meters), as well as a climbing wall-warm-up (width — 12 meters, double-sided). Together with the climbing wall, equipment for rock climbing was transferred, — noted in the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea.
The equipment will be used for teaching children how to climb, holding competitions, as well as training the climbing teams of Russia and Crimea.
