A Georgian citizen was arrested in absentia in connection with the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The court granted the investigation’s request to select Inasaridze as a preventive measure in the form of detention in absentiasaid the agency’s interlocutor.
Previously, the court in the same case was arrested in absentia Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk.
A preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months is valid from the moment the accused is extradited to the territory of the Russian Federation or from the moment of his detention in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Inasaridze was charged with committing crimes under paragraph “b” of Part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act), part 4 of Art. 222.1. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of explosives or explosive devices), Part 3 of Art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (smuggling of potent, poisonous, toxic, explosive, radioactive substances, and other weapons).
