A holiday of mercy and charity “White Flower” was held in Livadia. 17 times
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Traditionally, during the festive events, funds were raised for charitable assistance to people in difficult life situations and under the care of the House of Mercy.
And again the White Chamomile blossomed in Livadia — a symbol of mercy and charity. A wonderful holiday with a wonderful concert and a charity fair once again brought together those whose hearts are filled with kindness and love for their neighbors. I walked through the aisles of the fair with pleasure, purchased a painting with cats and a number of other interesting things, bought a cake at the auction, which everyone could immediately enjoy, and enjoyed the creativity of our most talented children— the press service quotes the head of the administration Yanina Pavlenko.
Yanina Pavlenko recalled that over a hundred years ago, the holiday of the White Flower in Livadia was celebrated by the family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, and 17 years ago, the centuries-old traditions of mercy were revived by parishioners and the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross, Archpriest Dmitry Gotskalyuk, with the assistance of the leadership of the Livadia Palace Museum, the Crimean Diocese and Yalta Deanery.
Every year there are more and more participants — parishes of churches, schools, kindergartens, artists, entrepreneurs, politicians and simply caring Yalta residents and guests of the resort. The main mission is unchanged: to help the wards of the House of Mercy and draw attention to the preservation and strengthening of spiritual, cultural and family values, patriotism and love for the Motherland“Yanina Pavlenko emphasized and thanked everyone who supports this important and necessary cause.
