According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea, a landscape («natural») fire was eliminated on the border with the lands of the forest fund of the Yevpatoriya forestry.

The well-coordinated work of the fire brigade staff made it possible to eliminate the fire within two hours, as well as to prevent the spread of fire to the lands of the forest fund and damage to infrastructureenvironmentalists said.

We remind you that on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, from August 23, 2023, the restriction on the stay of citizens in the forests, the entry of vehicles into them and the performance of certain types of work in the forests in order to ensure fire safety has been extended for 21 calendar days.

Visiting forests is limited, except for places of rest for citizens, which are allowed to be used (visited) free of charge. LINK TO MAP
