Essential oil enterprises will have to harvest an essential oil rose on an area of more than 40 hectares this year.
In total, the essential oil rose occupies about 50 hectares, this is the one that is in the period of operation and young plantations. Now the petals are harvested by the largest enterprise Agrofirma Turgenevskaya LLC on the largest field in our country of 30 hectares. Last year, more than 60 tons of essential oil roses were harvested in the fields of the republic.— quotes the press service of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk.
Andrey Savchuk also noted that for several years in a row, enterprises that grow such crops receive state support for the purchase of planting material for industrial plantations of essential oil roses at a rate of more than 440 thousand rubles per 1 hectare, for rose mother liquors at a rate of 300 thousand rubles per 1 hectare.
