A large-scale project “Golden Sands of Russia” is being implemented on the western coast of Crimea

The area of “Golden Sands of Russia” will be more than 100 hectares.
The resort combines two tourist clusters — the cities of Saki and Evpatoria. To receive and accommodate vacationers, 17 three, four and five star hotels with 4.5 thousand rooms with all the accompanying tourist infrastructure will be built on the territory of the Golden Sands of Russia resort. As part of the project, 1.5 thousand jobs will be created. There will also be a modern aquatic complex, an art space and parking for marine transport. The project involves the construction of a 12-kilometer promenade zone. The new embankment will be connected to Simferopolskaya Street, Tereshkova Embankment, Frunze Embankment and further to the Azure Embankment along the coast of Evpatoria Bay. A pedestrian zone will be created here, and paths will be equipped for cyclists, electric scooters and electric cars.,” the press service of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk quotes.
According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, hotels and related infrastructure will be built in compliance with all environmental standards, preserving green spaces and planting new trees and lawns, as well as installing appropriate automatic irrigation systems.
