The Evpatoria prosecutor’s office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a local resident. He is charged under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim), Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of ammunition for firearms).
According to investigators, at the end of December last year, the accused, while at the place of residence of his friend, drank alcoholic beverages with the latter. During the conflict, the man punched and kicked the victim in the head, torso and limbs, causing him serious bodily injury. The man died a short time later as a result of his injuries.— reported the prosecutor’s office.
It is clarified that during a search at the defendant’s place of residence, 7 cartridges were found.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Yevpatoriya City Court for consideration on the merits.
