Instant karma — employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Yalta brought to justice a traffic violator

Turn left across a solid road, drive through a red traffic light…. Maybe the KIA CEED driver could have gotten away with it… But not this time. Employees of the Yalta State Traffic Inspectorate demonstrated vigilance, integrity and the ability to be in the right place at the right time.

On March 11, at 15:50 on the Yalta-Sevastopol two-way highway, the driver, in violation of road markings, crossed a solid line and made a left turn, drove through a prohibited (red) traffic light, thereby grossly violating traffic rules,” stated the traffic police.

The offender turned out to be a 37-year-old Yalta resident. Protocols on administrative offenses under Part 2 of Art. 12.16 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Turn left or make a U-turn in violation of the requirements prescribed by road signs or road markings) and under Part 1 of Art. 12.12 (Driving at an illegal traffic light signal or a traffic controller’s prohibiting gesture). The man will have to pay an administrative fine of 4,000 rubles.
