What an “interesting” June the man had…
The Evpatoria prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a previously convicted 39-year-old local resident.
He was found guilty of committing crimes under Part. 1, 2 tbsp. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), paragraph “c”, part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing grievous bodily harm using an object used as a weapon)— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The supervisory department listed the “exploits” of the Yevpatorian citizen. Note that all crimes were committed in June.
According to investigators, in early June 2023, the convict, while intoxicated, entered a Renault Logan car parked near the victim’s house through an unlocked door. Using the key that remained in the ignition, the attacker started the engine and stole the vehicle.
In June of this year, the convict, while at the place of residence of his friend, stole a phone that belonged to him. Under similar circumstances, the man stole another phone. It was also established that in June of this year, an attacker stole a bicycle from the entrance of one of the apartment buildings.
At the end of June of this year, the convict, while in the area adjacent to an apartment building on Pobeda Avenue, during a conflict with an acquaintance, stabbed the latter several times in the abdominal area.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 3 years and 5 months in prison. The convicted person will serve his sentence in a special regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
