On April 26, at 18:40, the driver of a Chevrolet Lacetti, born in 1979, was driving along the Tavrida highway from Simferopol in the direction of Kerch, 182 km. +600 m. near the village. Zuya of the Belogorsk district lost control and collided with an obstacle on the right (road fence)— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
As a result of road accidents, 3 people were injured, including 1 minor. The victims were taken to a medical facility.
The State Traffic Inspectorate warns:
Speed is a key road safety issue. In fact, violation of the speed limit indirectly accompanies all road accidents. Speed is a major deciding factor in a significant proportion of fatal road traffic accidents.
Maintaining a safe speed limit is the key to safety. However, as you know, on Tavrida the speed limit is observed only where the cameras are “hung”. And the rest of the area… the race track.
