CrimeaPRESS reports:

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 54-year-old Sevastopol resident, who is accused under paragraph “b” of Part 5 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other actions of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim in relation to two or more minors under 14 years of age).

According to investigators, in June – July 2023, the accused, working as a security guard in a kindergarten, took advantage of the gullibility of children and their lack of life experience and committed sexual acts against three young pupils of a preschool institution. The children told their parents about what happened, who contacted the police. The man was detained and taken into custody. The investigation was carried out by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol sent the criminal case to the Sevastopol City Court for consideration on the merits. In addition, when sending the criminal case to court, the prosecutor’s office filed three statements of claim to recover compensation for moral damage from the perpetrator in favor of the victims. The decision on the claims will be made by the court when rendering the verdict.
