A sewerage system will finally be built in the “Old Town” of Simferopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As part of the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,” this year the construction of a sewerage network will be implemented in the “Old Town” microdistrict of Simferopol. This was announced by the head of the administration of the capital of Crimea, Mikhail Afanasyev, in the “Interview 24” program on the “Crimea 24” TV channel.

According to him, the total length of the pipeline facility will be 13.4 km, the throughput capacity will be from 744.8 to 1989.8 cubic meters per day.

The main purpose of the designed linear facility is to provide streets with a centralized sewerage system with wastewater drainage from residential buildings and public buildings into city networks.

The construction of a sewerage network in the Old Town microdistrict will be carried out along the streets: Poligonnaya, Zhidkova, Bratskaya, Angarskaya, Perevalnaya, Artilleriyskaya, Petrovskaya, 8 March, Krasnoarmeyskaya, Chekhova, Krymskaya, Pogranichnikov, Kurchatova, Volodarsky, Inge and lanes: Krylova, Poligonny, Nagorny, Chekhov, Kamenny, Skalisty, Obozny, Scythian and Bratsky.

The facility is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2024.

The issue of the storm sewer system in the city is systemic, since it requires large financial investments, since all work on the arrangement of storm drains is associated with excavations. Nevertheless, we are carrying out these works as planned and are preparing design and estimate documentation. This year we will be installing storm drainage on Semashko Street. We will also pay special attention to this problem in the urban village of Gresovskysaid the head of the city administration.
