A truck caught fire near the Angarsk Pass
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A MAN truck caught fire near the Angarsk Pass. The emergency occurred at night.
The driver got his bearings in time and evacuated on his own. Firefighters laid hose lines and extinguished the fire within 40 minutes over an area of 6 square meters.— the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Crimea reported.
There were no casualties, the causes are being determined.
Rules of conduct in case of fire in a car:
- Stop immediately and turn off the engine;
- Disembark all passengers;
- Call emergency services;
- Do not open the hood until you have prepared fire extinguishing agents;
- Open the hood gradually and carefully — preferably from the side with a stick or crowbar, as this may cause flames to escape;
- Point the fire extinguisher at the source of intense fire or cover the flames with a tarpaulin.
In case of emergency, you must call the emergency service at 112.
