Acceptance of applications for first grade has started in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today in Sevastopol we began accepting applications for admission to first grade. This was reported during a staff meeting in the Government chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos. As of 12:00, about 1,000 applications had already been submitted.
Our admission campaign is traditionally divided into two stages: the first began today at 00:00, and it will last until June 30. During this stage, documents are accepted for children who live in the territory assigned to the school. After the first stage is completed, within three working days an order will be issued to enroll children in educational organizations. That is, around July 3, parents will already know where their child is enrolled. Then, on July 6, the second stage will begin: documents are accepted here for children who do not live in the territory assigned to the school. Here, accordingly, enrollment occurs on the basis of available places. From July 6, it will be possible to view information about available places and submit applications on the school website; it will be updated daily. Orders during the second stage will be issued within five working days from the date of submission of applications, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol and. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos.
He also noted that if there are no more places left in a particular educational institution, but parents insist primarily on this microdistrict, they will need to contact the Department of Education, where the most suitable solution for the family will be selected.
The main requirement for admitting a child to first grade is between six years and six months and eight years of age.
If the children are under six years old, then to enroll the child in first grade it is necessary to provide the conclusion of a special commission,” emphasizes Maxim Krivonos.
In Sevastopol, for some categories of children there is a preferential procedure for enrollment in first grade: extraordinary, priority and preferential right of enrollment.
Explanatory work for parents has been carried out over the past month, and parents are already enjoying benefits when submitting applications. Today we will once again launch an information campaign, analyze what mistakes parents made when submitting applications in order to level them out in the future, says I. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science.
Let us remind you that you can apply for enrollment in the first grade in three ways: through the State Services portal, in person at school, and also through Russian Post.
