«Accident» chronicle of the week on the roads of Sevastopol: 9 accidents, 10 injured

Last week, 9 accidents occurred on the roads of Sevastopol, in which people received injuries of varying severity, including four minors: 1 pedestrian and 3 young passengers.

The traffic police officers revealed 28 administrative offenses, including 21 the driver drove the vehicle while intoxicated, 2 of which are repeated, for which criminal liability is provided. 12 drivers violated the rules for driving a pedestrian crossing, 5 drove into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 9 pedestrians crossed the roadway roads in the wrong place , — reported in the State traffic inspectorate of Sevastopol.

In the coming week, traffic inspectors will carry out preventive measures on the roads of Sevastopol «Search», «Carrier», «Pedestrian crossing», «Drunken driver» and «Overtaking».

For months of the current year, 472 accidents with victims were registered on the roads of Sevastopol, in which 28 people were killed and 578 injured.

On the roads of the city there was 148 an accident associated with a collision with a pedestrian, in which people died, of which 4 through the fault of the drivers, 6 — through their own negligence. Five pedestrians died in the dark, while on the roadway without retroreflective elements.

7 people were killed in the clashes. The main reasons for such accidents were: non-observance of the order of passage, inconsistency of speed with specific traffic conditions, driving into the oncoming lane and the wrong choice of distance.

For months on the roads of the city recorded 37 accidents with drivers who had signs of intoxication. In these accidents, 3 people died and 12 were injured.
