«Adult Stories of Children of Donbass» — an exhibition in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Photo exhibition “Adult Stories of Children of Donbass” has opened in Sevastopol — 10 photographs and 10 stories of children who survived the horrors of the war.
Under each photo there is a QR code, which allows you to see a video interview with the heroes of the exhibition, which was conducted and recorded by TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya. The audience will learn about 15-year-old Oleg Krivun, who lost his brush due to the rupture of an abandoned ammunition. The charitable foundation helped him make a bionic prosthesis and now the boy is learning to live again. Nine-year-old Liza Bondarenko was born in Gorlovka. She was only eight months old when, together with her parents, they went to the store and a shell exploded nearby. Mom died on the spot, dad got multiple wounds, and Liza left traces of shrapnel and now she suffers from frequent headaches, — notes «Sevastopol newspaper».
The photographs are exhibited near the office of the SROO «Sevastopol mothers» on Lenina street, 18 until September 21. And from September 6 to October 10, the exhibition will also work in parallel in the lobby of the Rossiya cinema (the square of the 50th anniversary of the USSR). The entrance is free.
The photo exhibition «Adult Stories of Children of Donbass» is now taking place in nine other Russian cities. This is a project of the «Memory of Generations» charity foundation, which is being implemented with the support of the Cultural Initiatives Foundation. Each child in these photographs received the necessary medical care from a charitable foundation. Some children needed surgery after their injuries, others needed rehabilitation, and the rest needed psychological help. The total amount of assistance to all children amounted to almost 9.9 million rubles, according to the Memory of Generations charity foundation.
