Employees of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» twice over the weekend provided assistance to people in the mountainous forest area.
The rescue service received a signal that on the slope of Mount Demerdzhi in the “Stone Chaos” area, a woman who was in a group of tourists injured her arm. Unable to continue moving further on his own due to being on difficult mountainous terrain, — said the emergency department. — Upon arrival at the foot of Mount South Demerdzhi, rescuers established visual contact with the citizen and headed towards her on foot. After meeting the woman, KRYM-SPAS employees provided first aid to her, putting a splint on her injured limb, and provided safe escort to the ambulance.
In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message that in the area of the sanatorium “30 Years of October” (Alushta), a man, while going down the path, stumbled and rolled down the slope, falling on the stones. He cannot move independently; assistance is required in finding him and evacuating him from the mountain-forest zone. Rescuers quickly found the victim, who was in a ravine 200 m from the road with various injuries. Employees of «CRIMEA-SPAS» provided first aid to the man and evacuated him on a stretcher to the roadway, where they handed him over to paramedics.
