Representatives of the Crimea won two medals at the Russian Women’s Wrestling Championship held on June 2-6 in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region.
Master of Sports of Russia Alina Kasabieva from Simferopol (coaches — Ignat Grek and Oleg Kudukhov) became the champion of the country in the weight category up to 62 kg. In the final fight, our young compatriot confidently defeated the most experienced (multiple winner of the World and European Championships) Svetlana Lipatova from Tatarstan (10: 0). Another athlete from the Crimean capital, Master of Sports of Russia Amina Tandelova (coaches — Ignat Grek, Valery Tedeev and Lena Khetagurova), in the most stubborn final fight in the category up to 65 kg only in the last action ( score — 1:1) lost to Uliana Tukurenova from Buryatia. Tandelova has the “silver” of the competition.
