In Crimea, available for vacationers 440 beaches. The largest number of beaches is located on the territory of Alushta — 88 beaches, Evpatoria — 84 beach, Yalta — 22 beach.
As noted in the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea, to ensure a safe beach holiday, the quality of sea water is regularly checked.
As of 22 June, the laboratories of the FBUZ «CH&E in the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol» examined 1756 sea water samples for microbiological indicators, 1747 samples for sanitary and chemical parameters, 1498 samples for parasitological parameters.
According to the results of the research, non-standard samples of sea water were identified according to microbiological indicators, the share of which was 2%, in connection with which a re-check was initiated on three beaches in the resort regions of the Republic of Crimea and a temporary ban on swimming was introduced.
On 24 June, according to the results of an additional check, it was found that all samples meet the established requirements. The temporary ban on swimming has been lifted and all the beaches (440) of Crimea are working as usual.
