In Crimea, the annual All-Russian action “Welcome to the Village”, implemented as part of the national project “Healthcare”, continues.
The action started in April and today the specialists of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of the Republic of Crimea together with the activists of the KRO VOD «Medic Volunteers» visited the settlements of Simferopol, Bakhchisarai, Kirovsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Leninsky, Nizhnegorsky and Pervomaisky districts.
During the trips, participants, through individual conversations and distribution of information materials, carry out educational work with the population on the topic of a healthy lifestyle and the rejection of bad habits, as well as the prevention of dangerous diseases. In addition, assistance is provided to medical workers in the improvement of the territory of local medical outpatient clinics or feldsher-obstetric stations , — said the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
Departures to settlements are held weekly, until the end of July, doctors and volunteers will also visit the villages of Dzhankoy, Razdolnensky and Sovetsky districts.
