All-Russian action «Welcome to the village» continues in Crimea

In Crimea, within the framework of the All-Russian action “Welcome to the Village”, specialists of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of the Republic of Crimea and activists of the All-Russian Public Movement “Medical Volunteers” continue joint visits to the villages of the Republic.
The action started in April and today doctors and volunteers have visited five settlements. These are outpatient clinics in the village of Partizanskoye, Simferopol District, and the village of Suvorovo, Saki District, as well as feldsher-obstetric stations in the villages of Glubokiy Yar, Bakhchisarai District, Golovanovka, Belogorsk District, and Nakhodka, Dzhankoy District.
During the field trips, the action participants cleaned the territories of medical institutions, held educational conversations with local residents on the topic of adherence to a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of major non-communicable diseases, and also organized master classes in Nordic walking.
The next trip of doctors and volunteers will take place in the village of Poltavka, Krasnogvardeisky district.
The main goal of the «Welcome to the Village» project is to increase the literacy of the population in matters of maintaining their own health, taking into account their current lifestyle, drawing the attention of citizens to the need for timely preventive medical examinations and medical examinations. The project is also being implemented to inform the population about the principles of first aid and to improve the conditions for the functioning of FAPs by improving the territory adjacent to them.— reported in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
