Almost one and a half kilometers of roads have been repaired in the Balaklava area
CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, six highways in the Balaklava area have been repaired this year, with a total length of 1.33 km. The work was carried out on Zemlyanichnaya, Sitnikova, Pogranichnaya streets, as well as on Fizkulturny, Profsoyuzny and Vodoprovodny lanes.
The road surface was in unsatisfactory condition; defects in side stones and lack of shoulders were identified. After diagnosing the road network, a decision was made to repair these streets. It is important to note that the contractors actively listened to the wishes and requests of local residents. Many works that can be performed as part of the current repairs have been successfully completed. The repair of the above streets was completed on time— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Director of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Alexander Shiryaev.
On Pogranichnaya and Zemlyanichnaya streets, in Profsoyuzny, Fizkulturny and Vodoprovodniy lanes, the contractor carried out milling of the existing pavement, replacement of side stones, installation of a leveling and top layer of asphalt concrete pavement. On the highway on Sitnikova Street, the contractor milled the old surface, laid a leveling and top layer of asphalt, and strengthened the shoulders.
Detailed information on all repair objects is available on the interactive map of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”, which clearly demonstrates the progress of work and interim results of the implementation of the national project.
