The Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol initiated a criminal case against the senior inspector of the immigration control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea. The investigating authorities charge him with accepting a bribe on a large scale by an official (part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
