An event was held in Detention Center No. 1 of Simferopol in honor of the Day of the Archangel Michael

In the prayer room of pre-trial detention center-1 in Simferopol, a service was held in honor of the day of the Archangel Michael, which is popularly known as Michaelmas Day, with the participation of suspected and accused women held in the institution.

After the prayer service, in his sermon, the assistant to the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for organizing work with believers, Roman Tsurkan, in the presence of the acting head of the pre-trial detention center, Sergei Geberlein, told the women about the importance of a guardian angel in the life of a Christian. The priest also reminded them of the main moral and life values, the need to maintain social ties with family and especially with children,” noted the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The event is aimed at explaining traditional moral values, the formation of stable, respectable behavior in society and the development of spiritual and moral qualities of the individual.
