Animal cruelty investigation completed in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, the investigation of a criminal case against a man accused of cruelty to animals has been completed.
In December 2021 of the year, a 29-year-old resident of Sevastopol contacted the police, who said that, while in his car, he witnessed how an unknown man dragged a dachshund puppy on a leash along the street. A caring citizen took the puppy to a veterinary clinic, but despite the assistance provided, the dog died after some time from the injuries caused to it.2021
The investigators initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruelty to animals) , — told the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol. 2021
In the near future, the materials of the criminal case, together with the indictment approved by the prosecutor, will be submitted to the court for consideration. In relation to the accused, a measure of restraint was chosen in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior.
