Another 9 Yalta families were relocated from emergency housing to comfortable apartments

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The keys to the new housing were presented to Yalta residents by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Svetlana Maslova, Director of the State Institution “Directorate for Program Management” Diana Chinauskas, Deputy Head of the Yalta Administration Oksana Valuyskikh, Deputy Chairman of the Yalta City Council Denis Davydov and Deputy Head of the Housing Policy Department of the Yalta City Administration Maria Doshlygina .

All housing for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing is purchased on the primary market from developers and is ready for occupancy. Another mechanism is the provision of redemption value to owners who decide to independently improve their living conditions. It’s interesting that Yalta also uses its own resources to quickly resettle emergency workers,” the press service of the Yalta administration quotes Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Svetlana Maslova.

In total, for the implementation of resettlement programs on the territory of the Yalta urban district, the State Institution «Program Implementation Administration» together with the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services for the resettlement of families living in emergency housing stock, concluded 130 contracts for the purchase of apartments in 5 housing complexes, including the Zenit residential complex and Residential complex «Almaz», where people are moving today, — in turn, said the director of the State Public Institution “Office for Program Implementation” Diana Chinauskas.

Today, 9 families, that’s 25 people, receive the keys to new apartments at once. Many have been waiting for this moment for decades. For example, residents from Sechenov, 51 and Sosnovaya — since 2007, Tenista — since 1997. Their new apartments are completely ready for occupancy, as long as they are provided under a social rental agreement; in the future, residents will be able to privatize them,” emphasized Oksana Valuyskikh, deputy head of the Yalta administration. She also added that among the new settlers is a family from a house that burned down in the village of Beregovoye in 2011, and these are the last resettlers from there, the rest agreed to receive the redemption price.

The deputy corps in their districts is also monitoring the situation, informing people living in the emergency fund about what steps they need to take. I would also like to thank the management and staff of the Housing Policy Department for their excellent work and interaction with peoplesays Deputy Chairman of the Yalta City Council Denis Davydov.

For residents of dilapidated houses on Sosnovaya Street, moving to a new place became special: they did not have to change the area where they had lived for a long time.

In our previous house we have a common toilet, a kitchen without water and sewerage — the conditions are deplorable. Here we have a large spacious apartment, the child will have his own room, has his own kitchen, we are very happy“,” notes Elena Kolomiets, who until recently lived on Sosnovaya, 21.

I lived in a barracks on Tenistaya Street in Ai-Danil for 58 years, while my parents were still waiting for an apartment. We didn’t expect it before, but now, under Russia, thanks to our President, who cares about people, we got this apartment,” emphasizes Nadezhda Chepikova, who until recently lived in house No. 11 on Kiparisnaya Street in the village of Ai-Danil.

The work on resettling emergency workers, together with the Republic, intensified 2 years ago. At that time, 18 apartment buildings—that’s 194 apartments—were deemed subject to demolition. In addition to the provision of new apartments, 48 families were paid the redemption value in the amount of over 400 million rubles. I thank the Head of the Republic, Deputy Prime Minister Svetlana Borisovna Maslova, the leadership of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the “Program Implementation Directorate” and the housing policy department of the administration. The work is really huge. We are moving on until the emergency housing stock is completely resettled,” summed up the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko.
