Sergey Aksyonov believes that in Crimea we need to be more careful in choosing contractors

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a series of meetings to optimize the work of resource supply organizations and other institutions of the republic. During a meeting on construction projects at the Investstroy Republic of Crimea State Institution, projects of medical institutions were reviewed: ambulance substations, medical outpatient clinics, and first aid stations.

At the moment, a number of objects are behind schedule for subjective reasons, which is categorically unacceptable. I believe that it is necessary to conduct an internal investigation and consider the issue of dismissal of officials who accompanied the Ministry of Health facilities and allowed construction deadlines to be missed for incompetence. The Ministry of Health should strengthen control over facilities. All institutions must be fully equipped and staffed by mid-November– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov once again drew attention to the need for a more careful selection of contractors and increased control over their work.

If you notice missed deadlines, you need to make immediate decisions regarding them, and not listen to empty promises. As soon as contractors realize the inevitability of making operational management decisions, everything will immediately fall into place— said the Head of the Republic.

During a visit to JSC Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov recommended forming a phased implementation of the project.

Verification must be carried out at all stages. There is no need to wait for the end of the project — to come to the construction site in 2025 and see that there is nothing there. If experts see that the plan is not being implemented, the agreement must be terminated. It is important to fully resolve all problematic issues before concluding an agreement with the investor. It is unacceptable for an investor to lack something already at the stage of project implementation — this is the responsibility of the Corporation. And the maximum duration of the project should not exceed 5 years– notes the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov also indicated that the project should take into account targets in terms of taxation and job creation.

At a working meeting on problematic issues of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo», Sergei Aksyonov noted the economic growth of the enterprise, which made it possible to close accounts payable:

Financially, the situation is leveling out. It turns out that a company can work like this. This means the right decisions were made. We also reached figures of about 9 thousand for technical connections.

At the same time, Sergei Aksyonov reported that the previous management of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» made deliberate changes to the program for submitting applications for technological connection to electrical networks, which deliberately complicated the process.

This was done taking into account obtaining material benefits. The situation has now been resolved. Anyone who has been unfairly assessed fines, penalties, etc., please contact the head of the enterprise, Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Gaiduk— said the Head of the Republic.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk, as well as relevant ministers and heads of enterprises.
