Another ambulance substation is being built in Sevastopol. On Gorpishchenko street

Construction of substation No. 1 of the Sevastopol Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine continues on Pobedy Avenue. The work is being carried out within the framework of the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”.

The ambulance substation building belongs to auxiliary units and is intended for the accommodation of emergency medical personnel, accommodation and maintenance of specialized transport. Now the work is on schedule, there are no technical problems at the site. I set the task for the contractor not to slow down the pace of construction. Completion of construction and installation work is scheduled for the end of this year– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the capital construction department Ivan Pogodin.

The substation under construction is two-story, with a basement and a covered shelter for ambulances. The total area of the building is 1,170 sq. m. m. The facility will consist of transport and operational parts, as well as office premises.

The first floor will mainly be occupied by the transport part, which involves the installation of a warm box for four cars, a box for washing and disinfecting cars, and a box with a pit for minor repairs. In addition, provision is made for the arrangement of a driver’s rest room, a dressing room, a control room and related storage rooms.

On the second floor there will be premises for operational and service units for drivers and medical personnel: a room for filling out documents, a storage room and assembling boxes for field teams, a storage room for medicines and medical products, a storage room for medicines, service and living areas for personnel and auxiliary premises.

The basement will house a ventilation chamber, a pumping room, an individual heating unit and an electrical control room.

The construction of the substation is being carried out by the contracting organization «Kapitalstroy».

Between 19 and 25 construction workers are employed on site every day. Monolithic and structural work has already been completed, architectural work is half completed, and the engineering part is ongoing. The finishing of the first and second floors has already begun, glazing is being done. The overall construction readiness of the facility is more than 50%. All materials required to complete the project according to schedule are delivered on time,” commented Alexander Zimin, director of the regional division of the contracting organization “Kapitalstroy”.

After completion of the substation construction, all premises will be equipped with modern equipment and furniture. The landscaping and landscaping project will ensure the formation of a favorable and harmonious environment; the landscaping area will be 786.2 square meters. m. The territory includes a recreation area for employees and a service parking lot for four cars.

Let us remind you that in 2023, a medical outpatient clinic for 100 visitors per shift was put into operation on Fiolentovskoye Highway, as well as a clinic for 320 visitors per shift in Kazachyaya Bay. Construction of four more medical facilities is currently underway.
