Another theatrical premiere is being prepared in Crimea — “Amadeus” by Peter Schaeffer
Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. M. Gorky is preparing the premiere. The theater has begun work on a new production of “Amadeus,” based on the play by British playwright Peter Schaeffer.
Already this spring, viewers will see the premiere from the authors of the plays “Cabal of the Holy One,” “Don Juan” and “Dragon.” The creative team led by the artistic director of the theater, author and stage director of the play, Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Magar, included production designer — People’s Artist of Russia Boris Blank, assistant director Andrei Chakvitaya, artist Kirill Eremin, lighting designer Roman Klochkov, musical design — Anton Kalinichenko, choreographer — Honored Artist of Crimea Olga Chekhovareports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.

It is interesting that the premiere of “Amadeus” by Peter Schaeffer took place on the stage of the Royal National Theater of Great Britain in 1979, and three years later the play was staged in the USSR, in the Leningrad Bolshoi Drama Theater.
