The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Yury Migal announced that harvesting of summer-ripening apples has started in Crimea.
Enterprises of the republic have already harvested the first tons of fruit, which is 51 a ton more than last year. The agricultural enterprises of the Nizhnegorsky and Krasnogvardeisky districts were the first to start cleaning. An area of 8 hectares has been cleared. This year, the harvest is planned not less than the level of 2021 of the year , — the press service of Yuri Migal quotes.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea noted that now the harvesting of summer-ripening apples is carried out by Sovkhoz-Vesna LLC, from 6 hectares harvested 125 tons and Golden Fruits of Crimea LLC, harvested 21,3 tons from 2 hectares.
Harvesting of fruit and berry products by agricultural producers takes place in almost all regions of the republic. In total, more than 2.4 thousand tons were harvested from 687 ha. Of these, garden strawberries in open and closed ground, blackberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, cherries, peaches, apricots and cherry plums.
