Arrest of property and a ban on traveling abroad: in Yalta, bailiffs collected a debt for electricity from a non-payer
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Yalta, bailiffs recovered from the non-payer a debt for electricity in the total amount of 678 thousand rubles through the seizure of property and a ban on traveling abroad.
Representatives of the energy company went to court — the claim was satisfied and, according to the court decision, citizen M. was obliged to pay utility bills in full. However, the debtor was in no hurry to fulfill his debt obligations, and as a result, enforcement proceedings were initiated against him in the bailiffs’ department for the city of Yalta of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Knowing this, citizen M. has already decided to ignore the legitimate demands of employees of enforcement agencies— noted in the press service of the department.
For the untimely execution of the court decision, the bailiffs of the department issued a decision to recover from the debtor a performance fee in the amount of 45 thousand rubles. But again, citizen M. decided not to pay anything and continued to evade paying off the debt for electricity. In order to induce the debtor to comply with the court decision, employees of the bailiff department for the city of Yalta of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol applied enforcement measures to him, namely, they revealed that he owned a car and a house, and imposed a ban on registration actions with property, and also temporarily restricted citizen M. in the right to travel outside the Russian Federation. As time passed, the debtor first wanted to sell his home ownership, and then completely leave the country for one of the republics of the near abroad, but faced a number of difficulties in making a trade transaction and crossing the border.
After that, citizen M. arrived at the bailiff’s office for the city of Yalta of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and expressed his disagreement with the actions of the bailiffs. In the course of communication with the debtor, it turned out that the latter arrived in a vehicle, on which the employees of the department had imposed a ban on registration actions. The bailiffs drew up an act of arrest of the car, warning citizen M. that his vehicle would be seized and handed over for compulsory sale to pay off debts on unpaid payments for electricity. Only when faced with restrictions in his life, the Yalta resident found the necessary funds in the shortest possible time and transferred them to the deposit account of the branch, thereby repaying the electricity debt in full!
