Artek joined the International Day of Charity
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the classes in the children’s art studio of the Artek International Children’s Center, the children took up soap making. Gifts from Artek residents will be given to children who live in the NWO area.
Children participated in a charity event today. We made soap with the Artek logo. The process uses a special water-soluble paper. Soap can be used for a long time, and the picture will be until it disappears. It foams well, does not dry the skin, it is pleasant to hold it in hands. We use only quality ingredients. Even small children can use soap— Alisa Kozlova, a teacher of additional education at the PROMylo studio, said.
Soap making is a very interesting process. For the manufacture of soap with a picture, layer-by-layer horizontal pouring in three layers is used. The first one is transparent. The second is the white layer, and the third is the color. Artek residents chose the color themselves, as well as the aromas with which they scented the soap.
The children participated with interest in the work, got acquainted with a new type of activity. Gifts from Artek workers will be given to children who now live in the zone of the special military operation. The guys are sure that peer support is very important.
Today we made soap, got carried away with this process, had an interesting time. It was my first time participating in such a class. I think charity is a very good thing. It is important to help those in need, especially children. Hope they enjoy it. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this promotion.— shared Askar Khasanov from Ufa.
Making soap is interesting and fun. I liked pouring layers, adding flavors, paint. I think it’s important to help others. I hope that the children who will receive our gifts will like them.— said Ekaterina Shalopina from St. Petersburg.
Actions to help those in need are held in Artek on an ongoing basis. Employees of the children’s center collect humanitarian aid for people who find themselves in a difficult life situation, Artek residents traditionally create gifts for their peers. Each action is an indicator of the unity of the inhabitants of our country.
