Artistic directors and chief directors of Russian theaters will undergo training at the Meganom Academy

From June 25 to October 13, the Academy of Creative Industries “Meganom” (project “Tavrida.ART” from Rosmolodezh) will host the educational program “Sergei Bezrukov Academy “Artistic Directors of Theaters of the Future” in offline and online formats. Its participants will develop and improve professional skills in strategic planning and promotion of modern Russian theater. Artistic directors and chief directors of Russian theaters under the age of 45 are invited to participate in the program. Registration is open from March 27 to May 25 at website art cluster «Tavrida» and in the application «Meganome» in VK.

During the training, young theater directors and artistic directors will become familiar with current trends in modern theater management and master the skills necessary for effective management. During the training process, they will learn how to manage a creative team, formulate repertoire policy and interact with authorities, business and social partners. During the program, each participant, under the mentorship of experts, will create their own Theater Development Strategy and receive meaningful assessment and recommendations.

The program in online and offline format will last 4 months, divided into three modules. The first module will take place from June 25 to July 4 in Moscow at the Moscow Provincial Theater, where participants will enjoy master classes, workshops with experts and cultural and educational events. The second module — from July 15 to September 25 — involves training on the Tavrida.ART online platform. In the third module — from October 5 to 13 — participants will meet in Crimea at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries for educational formats and the final presentation of Theater Development Strategies.

The program partner is the Moscow Provincial Theater. Among the experts of the program are Sergei Bezrukov, People’s Artist of Russia, artistic director of the Moscow Provincial Theater, artistic director of the Big Children’s Festival and the Summer Festival of Provincial Theaters «Stanislavsky Factory», theater director, producer, public figure, as well as Larisa Viljaste, director of the Moscow Provincial Theater, Director of the Great Children’s Festival and the Summer Festival of Provincial Theaters «Stanislavsky Factory».

Participation is free. You can submit your application until May 25 in the application «Meganome» in VK and on the website art cluster «Tavrida».

REFERENCE: The Meganom Academy of Creative Industries is a conceptually new educational environment for young representatives of culture, art and creative industries, the core of the Tavrida art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh).
