As part of the state program, 24 wastewater treatment facilities will be built and reconstructed in Crimea

The results of the inspection of the wastewater treatment facilities in the Republic of Crimea, the progress of work on 11 wastewater treatment facilities in the Republic that are in the design and survey stage, as well as problematic issues were discussed. As of today, five facilities have already been commissioned — Ordzhonikidze, Chernomorskoye, Lenino, Olenevka and Morskoye. Seven facilities are in the construction and installation stage. These are the Saki, Utes, Mindalnoye, Koktebel, Katsiveli, Malorechenskoye and Foros wastewater treatment facilities.— said Yuriy Gotsanyuk.
According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, within the framework of the state program in Crimea they plan to build and reconstruct 24 sewage treatment facilities.
Reconstruction and construction of the WWTP will allow the use of modern wastewater treatment technologies, as well as bring the quality indicators of the cleaning and disinfection process to the required parameters. Moreover, such work will eliminate pollution of the Black Sea coast in the resort area and minimize the harm of the cleaning process and waste to the environment— said Yuriy Gotsanyuk.
