At Northern State University, teachers from Energodar will be trained to prepare schoolchildren for the Unified State Exam

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The full-time stage of training under the additional professional retraining program “Innovative technologies for teaching Russian language and literature at school” has started at SevSU. More than thirty teachers of Russian language and literature from Energodar and nearby villages began classes. Teachers are trained to prepare schoolchildren from new regions to take the Unified State Exam in literature and the Russian language.

The program will last six months and includes both face-to-face blocks and online training.

The June face-to-face module lasts five days. The program includes classes on psychology and the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process. A large block is devoted to the formation of civil identity using the Russian language.

Nowadays in Energodar schools the Russian language is taught five times a week, but during the Ukrainian period the native language was supplanted and was not taught at all.

All subjects were taught in Ukrainian. Energodar is a Russian-speaking city, and now it has become much easier for us, because everyone has returned to the language that they love and are accustomed to. Now everyone communicates and studies it; Russian is in great demand both among adults and children. Schoolchildren quickly readjusted and are happy to receive knowledge, and we, teachers, must provide them with this knowledge in a quality manner, — notes Lyudmila Rukobratskaya, a teacher of Russian language and literature, a school director from the suburb of Energodar.
