CrimeaPRESS reports:
A new attraction for active recreation for the whole family has opened in the Children’s Park of Simferopol. The rope town is 1,000 square meters of vivid emotions, where you can test your dexterity, strength, attention and overcome your fear of heights.
The name for the new vacation spot was thought up by the whole of Simferopol. The competition was announced by the head of administration Mikhail Afanasyev. The winner was Elena Nekhaychuk, who proposed the sonorous «At the Height». It was she, together with the deputy head of the administration of Simferopol, Alexander Semenchenko, who launched the work of the rope park.
The activity and entertainment park includes 62 different obstacles, consists of two tiers and four routes.
The first tier is located at the level of 1.6 meters. The second tier, with an increased level of complexity, is at a height of 4.8 meters. Guests will have to walk «over the abyss» along the cables and «pacify» swaying logs, barrels, steps, beams and other obstacles. The presence of a reliable design, insurance and qualified instructors make the rope park absolutely safe. The route of the lower tier is designed for ages 7 and up. Those who are at least 130 cm tall are allowed on the upper track. The cost of passing the lower tier is 200 rubles, the upper tier is 300 rubles— said in MBUK «Parks of the Capital».
During the construction of the rope town, the contractor retained all the green spaces. Healthy and strong trees growing in the park were used as supporting structures, among which the rope system is located.
In addition, during the work, paving slabs were replaced, street lighting and video surveillance were installed, and small architectural forms were installed.
The rope town in the Simferopol Children’s Park was built as part of the implementation of the regional project «Formation of a comfortable urban environment in the Republic of Crimea», an agreement between the Moscow Government and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.
