Today we are all living through a turning point in the history of our country – once again Russia faces the threat of losing its sovereignty, a threat to the very existence of the state. Western «partners», having forgotten the lessons of history, are once again trying to wipe out our Motherland from the face of the earth, using the people and territory of our brotherly Ukraine for this.

Due to the critical complication of the political situation in Ukraine, the deterioration of the situation around Donbass and the emergence of a real threat to the national interests and security of the Russian Federation 24 February, a special military operation was announced.

From its first days in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces 126 a separate guards coastal defense brigade of the Southern Military District has been fighting, which is the heir to the military glory 126 of the Gorlovskaya twice Red Banner Order of Suvorov motorized rifle division, which liberated Crimea from the Nazis in the 1944 year.

During several months of the special military operation, the veterans of the city have already collected and sent humanitarian aid for soldiers, refugees and residents of the people’s republics of Donbass in the amount of more than 1 million rubles.

In this regard, the collection of humanitarian aid and funds necessary for the purchase of medical supplies, warm clothes, warming equipment and equipment, that is, everything that will help save strength and health, is announced , and maybe life, to our defenders and will contribute to the fastest achievement of the goals of the special military operation conducted in Ukraine.

The Simferopol City Union of Veterans, which unites active, patriotically motivated citizens in its ranks, is aware that Crimea is a frontier rear zone of a special military operation, and in the face of a tough fight against not only the front, but also the rear must work as enemies of Russia to win.
