Employees of the Belogorsk emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» provided assistance to a man who suffered a leg injury in the mountain forest area.

Yesterday at 20:40 the control panel of the emergency department on duty received a signal that during a tourist walk through the mountainous forest area in the area of ​​the village. A man injured his leg in the Strawberry Belogorsk district. He cannot continue moving on his own. Rescuers’ help is needed to evacuate him. The duty shift of the Belogorsk emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “CRIMEA-SPAS”, consisting of 2 people, went to the scene of the incident. Upon arrival, rescuers, together with paramedics, provided first aid to the victim by applying a vacuum splint to the injured limb.— said the emergency department.

After this, the Ministry of Emergency Situations transported the man to an ambulance for further hospitalization at a medical facility.
