By the holiday season, public Wi-Fi zones will appear on the Alushta embankment

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Alushta is actively preparing for the holiday season. Places of accommodation, retail outlets are being put in order, the embankment is being reconstructed. This year, the city administration pays special attention to the development of the quality of mobile communications and the Internet. The issue of communication quality is solved jointly with the Crimean telecom operators. Thus, KTK TELECOM LLC (TM Volna Mobile) plans to launch public Wi-Fi zones by the holiday season.

During the season, a lot of tourists travel to the Crimea, local residents also actively visit the city’s embankments. The goal of the project to create public Wi-Fi zones on the Alushta embankment is to make your stay in places with high traffic more comfortable so that you can share photos and videos of beautiful Crimea at high speed while on vacation. At the first stage of the project, Internet access via Wi-Fi will appear on the site from the center to the Work Corner , — Dmitry Nagorny, Managing Director of KTK TELECOM LLC, quotes the press service.

Another important direction in the development of telecommunications services is the construction of a broadband Internet access network (BBA). The mobile operator offers a unique service in the Crimean market — a single tariff for mobile communications, home Internet and television. Residents of Simferopol are actively connecting the complex tariff, in the near future the network will be deployed in Alushta, Yalta and other regions of Crimea.

Other measures are planned to improve the quality of communication in Alushta. In particular, it is planned to build 10 new base stations aimed at expanding coverage and increasing network capacity. More 16 existing base stations will be upgraded to 4G standards. Network refarming — raising the second LTE carriers — will significantly increase the network capacity and network access speed , — Dmitry Nagorny notes.
