Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk visited IK-1 in Simferopol

Accompanied by the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vadim Bulgakov, and the leadership of the correctional colony, Prime Minister of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk toured the production areas, where he got acquainted with the diverse range of products.

In order to interact on issues of placing orders and popularizing the industrial sector, the head of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service, Vadim Bulgakov, spoke about positive examples of interaction with state and municipal authorities of the Republic of Crimea. At the same time, he emphasized that the labor adaptation center of the penitentiary department has enormous potential, does not stand still, is constantly developing and increasing production volumes to maximize the involvement of convicts in paid work,” noted the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

For his part, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk noted that the products produced are of high quality and competitive, and also expressed his readiness for further cooperation with correctional institutions in terms of placing orders for the production of garments and furniture for the needs of the region.
