Charitable Foundation «Gulfstream»: Nonna is already expected at a rehabilitation center in Moscow
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Little Nonna, at 2 years old, has not yet taken a single independent step. She has movement disorder syndrome. In the coming months, the girl urgently needs to undergo a full examination and rehabilitation, otherwise she is at risk of developing cerebral palsy.
The family lives in Sverdlovsk, Lugansk People’s Republic; there are no specialized doctors in the city. There is an opportunity to go to a center in Moscow, but the family does not have enough funds. Your help is vital for Nonna. Early treatment can dramatically change her future. Nonna’s life almost ended for the first time when she was 5 days old — she stopped breathing and refused to eat. The illness of the girl’s mother Anna during pregnancy had an impact, she suffered from pneumonia and gave birth prematurely at 35 weeks. The newborn was first saved by doctors from Sverdlovsk, and then by doctors from Lugansk; they literally fought for the life of a child who could only breathe with the help of a ventilator. Nonna and her mother came home for the first time only 2 months later. — noted in the Gulfstream Charitable Foundation.
The parents were happy that everything worked out well and made plans for a happy future. The second and long-awaited child in the family, little Nonna, was born at the moment when the eldest son grew up and left his parents’ home. The parents were happy, now they also have a daughter, little Nonnochka. The girl’s father was on the front line as part of the assault group from the first days of the Northern Military District. And Anna devoted all her time to raising her daughter and her health.
But one day doctors broke the news — the child was suspected of having cerebral palsy and movement disorder syndrome. The fact is that at 2 years old, Nonna does not walk: she sits, crawls, but cannot take a step. So he spends his time playing his favorite games: feeding dolls, drawing, collecting cubes.
A few months ago, doctors from the capital came to Lugansk and examined Nonna. They gave Anna hope by advising her to undergo professional rehabilitation as early as possible.
Mom got them sent to a local rehabilitation center in the LPR, where the girl received massages, and she took an AFC course, this was in April.
I won’t say that it got worse, but the child didn’t get better from this rehabilitation either.says Anna.
In fact, in the LPR there are neither specialists nor specialized medical equipment that is indicated for Nonna’s disease. But specialists from the specialized center are already waiting for the girl in Moscow. Professionals will work with her for most of the day to get her back on her feet in the literal sense of the word.
Mom is now on maternity leave, and dad works as a rolling stock mechanic on the railway, he is a veteran of the Northern Military District, and was discharged due to health reasons. For parents, this amount is unaffordable. Therefore, they ask for help from caring people. Let’s help the baby learn to walk! Thank you very much for your support! Your Gulfstream Foundation,” the fund notes.
