Charitable Foundation “Gulfstream”: “Sasha needs medication and examination. Mom continues to fight for her son’s life and health.”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Gulfstream Charitable Foundation notes that Sasha’s life is very different from the lives of most of his peers. Instead of spending time productively or going out with friends, he is forced to frequently visit clinics and hospitals.
Sasha Akimov from Kaliningrad is 18 years old. At one year old he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and later with epilepsy. But that’s not all… The guy has a very weak immune system. He catches diseases easily. After suffering from coronavirus, he began to develop rashes on his face; his mother thought it was age-related and hormonal. But the situation worsened, rashes began to appear more and more and spread throughout the body. Doctors diagnosed acne. Treatment was prescribed, but the improvements were temporary. Later, my mother began to notice large lumps that began to become inflamed. I had to resort to repeated surgical removal. One will be operated on, and a week later it will appear in another place. It became clear that it would not go away on its own.say the Gulfstream Charitable Foundation.
Sasha needs to undergo a full examination of his body. Doctors warned that a considerable amount of money would be required to carry out the necessary tests, ultrasounds and treatment.
Unfortunately, during this period the family found itself in a difficult financial situation. Sasha’s pension and care allowance are only enough to cover food and housing and communal services.
Help raise 200,000 rubles for Sasha’s examination and treatment.
Just when you think life is finally getting better, she starts throwing stones at yousays Sasha’s mother.
When Sasha was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the doctors’ forecasts were disappointing. An MRI showed brain damage.
Doctors gave a period of 4 months. I couldn’t believe it! This is mistake! This is not about us! I didn’t give up. She started knocking on all doors to save her son. I searched for information about new treatments and talked to other parents who were in a similar situation, — says Lyubov.
Sasha cannot speak, he has hypersalivation, poor coordination of movements, problems with his hands, and epilepsy. He doesn’t serve himself. Despite this, Sasha’s mother did everything possible to abilitate him as much as possible and include him in society.
The guy came up with his own sign language that helps him communicate. And this unique “language” is understood by everyone.
He got an education. Thanks to his mother’s efforts, the boy went to school and then successfully graduated from college.
Sasha is a very cheerful guy, loves life, people, and is drawn to his peers. But, unfortunately, not all the guys accept him into their social circle — they call him names, offend him. And he smiles at them in return. It’s probably easier to live this way. My son has one feature that he inherited — he knows how to “scan” people. In an instant, it determines whether a person has a good heart or an evil one. He was never wrong— Love smiles.
Like all young people of his age, he dreams, falls in love, worries. But the young man’s health began to fail again. Despite all the difficulties, Sasha is not afraid of people in white coats. He knows they will help him. He is already accustomed to constant trips to medical institutions.
Sasha needs medication and examination. The mother continues to fight for the life and health of her son. And we believe that thanks to your support, everything will be fine for Sasha.
